1st night in LA

First night in LA.

After a long flight via Sydney for Paul, Gerald and Ken, and Via Auckland for Graham and Hugh. Checked into hotel Hacienda near LA airport. Caught up for dinner on Thursday evening.

Rory is due in Sat morning.

Negotiated and picked up the van, 6 seater SUV from Hertz. Transport Manager Ken gave the van a shake down trip to Long Beach and back.

Now after dinner some much needed sleep. Off to pick up the bikes tommorrow and do some sight seeing.

I had a pipe burst in the back yard. Got it fixed but why now?

• Have I got my bike gear organised?
• Passport?
• Two way.
• Tools.
• Padded butt?
• Rain Gear?

Bugger I'll need a b.... holiday by the time I get it all organised.
